One sign that you’re about to be swimming in shark infested waters is that its too good, too easy. You’re fucking this bitches asshole on the second date, shit like that. Much truth in this anon’s warnings. Many things, like constant complaints about family or conflicts with everyone, are clear red flags regarding the characters of people we meet, if only we’d stop and listen. I can’t help but feel the whole message behind “not judging a book by its cover” has been somehow warped by modern society’s emphasis on equality and such to mean something untrue and harmful.
