Japan has had steadily declining births over the years, meeting a record low of below 700,000 for the year 2024. One 4chan anon was berating their nation over this, claiming that:

A different anon offered a rather thought provoking counter point to the point the above anon made:
In 200 years, the Japanese islands will be filled with Japanese people and will have a Japanese government. Their population may be smaller or larger than it is today. They may be poorer or richer than they are today. However, they will be Japanese. The same goes for China, India, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey, most of Arabia, Egypt and all of Subsaharan Africa. Many of these countries will struggle and many will have internal collapses, it won’t be the first time in history it has happened to any of them.
Decreasing population does in fact carry a lot of negative consequences, I won’t shy away from that. Declining populations will struggle economically. There will be a crisis of care for the elderly that may require them to make a sacrifice for the young and for the future (the way it should have been all along). However, national defense (the top priority for any country) can increasingly be handled by missiles, drones and nuclear weapons, meaning that external threats can be deterred even as a nation experiences significant internal upheaval. Military neutrality in any internal conflicts is paramount to ensure foreign deterrence is maintained. This is how an adult with an eye further out than 5 or 10 years manages population decline.
There is no country in the West that will be White or European in 200 years. They will be countries full of mongrels and racial abominations of all kinds. It will happen because kikes and old retards are in charge.
TL;DR: Population decline is a serious problem, and economically catastrophic, but infinitely survivable in the long term. Immigration is a non-survivable extinction level event for your nation. Immigration is the single most hateful policy a government can ever willingly inflict on its people. Europe lost 1/3 of its population to the Black Death in the mid-14th century, when human labor was even more necessary to survival than it is today. Europe did not cease to exist.
The second anon makes a very good point. There’s deeper impact that immigration can make to a nation above just cheap labor for corporations. Having no immigration at all may be too extreme, but at least a nation should be selective in who it lets in.
It would be interesting to observe America as a nation over the course of the next several decades to see how its society changes from the large amount of immigrants, both legal and illegal, that has been coming over for the past decades.
