A sad little comic on how the views toward low level service jobs, such as fast food positions, have shifted over the past couple of decades:
As someone who lived through all of the above years, the comic is absolutely true. The reasons behind why people reacted as such during each time period is very nuanced, but as an overall larger trend, quality of life appears to be decreasing as time goes on in the US.
Either way, I’m just glad I’m retired and does not have to deal with all this anymore.
