The possible banning or forced sale of Tiktok has much to do with Jewish political maneuverings. A rather succinct summary from a posted screen cap that circulated on 4chan states thusly:

The ADL said Tiktok is a THREAT TO ISRAEL.
AIPAC gave Dan Crenshaw millions of dollars. He voted to ban Tiktok and gloated about it.
From October 23-30, 2023, Pro Palestinian posts were posted 10x more than Pro Israeli posts on Tiktok.
Pro Palestinian posts also received 5x as many views.

TikTok was fine when it was promoting anti-white hate. Once criticism of Israel became popular it had to be shut down.
College demonstrations were fine when they were for racial grievances against white people. Once they started protesting Israel they had to be shut down…
Tiktok is temporarily saved from an immediate ban in the US, however knowing the hold Jewish interests have on American politicians, the new president included, I doubt they are anywhere close to out of the woods yet.
