An otter named Warabi (わらび) from the Omoriyama zoo from the Akita prefecture in Japan recently celebrated their 6th birthday (on 7/16). A sushi feast was given to him/her in celebration:
The feast included slices of raw fish, apples, crab and even a crawdad. The apples were carved with the animal’s name and age. The “rice” portions of the sushi were actually pieces of daikon radish.
Can the little guy even finish the whole thing? Regardless, happy birthday.
