A Japanese man tries to keep his cat from jumping on his kitchen counter in various ways.
With regular fencing for the counter, and plastic spikes below to deny the cat the ground to jump from:
When the above arrangement fails, he tries to utilize the reflection from water bottles to scare away the cat:
It sadly also fails. Finally, having had enough, his kitchen transforms into its final form:
This works to keep out the cat. But something more precious was lost during the struggle. Human dignity, perhaps? We will never know. The cat continues to plot to get inside the kitchen:
