Merced, California’s SPCA chapter shows snippets of a video cam footage showing a cat, Wendy, adding an extra ingredient in her foster parent’s pot as it simmered on the stove:
Apparently the cat acted strange afterwards and kept staring at the stove, which prompted her foster care taker, who was out of the house walking the dog at the time, to check the kitchen’s camera to reveal this scene.
There are also quite a few complaint online stating the above scene was made by AI, noting the unusual setup of buttons on the stove itself. Sadly we can never know in this day and age, but it’s probably a good thing if the above was faked and no one had to experience dealing with a dead mouse in their stew pot.
