I used to teach at a university now I play videogames and rant about obscure crossword puzzles, arguably twitch chat is better behaved.

One could argue that the free market has higher demand for women drinking out of dog bowls than it has for architectural engineers, and hence the above scenarios are fine, but something simply feels unfortunate about the turn of events that these people have gone through. Were they genuinely qualified neuroscientists, college professors and some such capable of contributing in their fields, or simply acquired these titles through a corrupt education system that handed them out like participation trophies?

I suspect it’s a mix of both, but regardless, this is generally a disturbing trend demonstrating that western civilization is one more step closer to how Weimar, Germany was back in the day.
